Delhi Daredevils batting highlights revolved around Mahela Jayawadene who made a score of 66 runs of just 52 balls.Apart from Jayawardene it was only David Warner who was able to make a score in double digits as he made 21 of 19 balls.They ended at a score of  128 to set a target of 129 for KKR on 03/04/2013.

When the Kolkata Knight Riders came into bat Gautam Gambhir's score of 42 of 29 balls was the highlights of the innings as it laid the foundation for the remaining batsman to help them reach the target comfortably.Apart from Gambhir,Manoj Tiwary made 23 runs of 23 balls and Jaques Kallis who made 23 runs of 20 balls and helped them tilt the results in their favor.

Delhi Daredevils bowling looked good in patches and the only highlights of their bowling i can think of are Shahbaaz Nadeem who picked up 2 wickets and Johan Botha who picked up a wicket.In the end the results of the match went in favor of  KKR who won it comfortably by 6 wickets and ended at a score of 129 for the loss of 4 wickets.

The Delhi Daredevils will be very disappointed with the results of the match  today (03/04/2013) as apart from Mahela Jayawardene no one else made a score to really impact the team's final score.

The Third one day International (ODI) Cricket match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh on 28/03/2013 was interrupted by rain after which Bangladesh had a target of 183 to chase after 27 overs as per Duckward Lewis system,this was after Sri Lanka made a score of 302 for the loss of 9 wickets in their allocated 50 overs.The results of the match were truly thrilling.

The bowling of the Bangladesh cricket team was disappointing with all their bowlers going for plenty of runs.The only notable highlights of their bowling was Abdur Razzak who picked up 5 wickets and gave away 62 runs.

When the touring team came into bat at the 3rd odi (28/03/2013) they had a brisk start and looked to be at ease before the rain played spoilt sport and the match ended up being a 27 over game with Bangladesh needing 183 runs to win from 27 overs.After the rain break they came out all guns blazing and the team performed well together with Anamul Haque and Nasir Hossain making 40 and 32 not out to help their team towards a comfortable victory.They ended up at a score of 184/7 and won the match by 3 wickets with an over to spare.I must say the results of this match were not expected especially when the home team scored  302.

The results of the fifth day of third cricket test match between England and New Zealand held on 26/03/2013 ended in a thriller.After England ended the Day 4 of this test match at a score of 90/4 it never looked like they would be able to resist a defeat on the last day (26/03/2013)The amazing resilience of England ensured that the results of the match ended with a draw as they remained at a score of 316 for the loss of 9 wickets as the test match ended

The fifth day of the third cricket test match between England and New Zealand held on 26/03/2013 started with some brilliant contributions by Ian Bell and Matt Prior who made 75 and 110 not out respectively.Though there were no other good highlights from the England innings,Prior and Bell made sure to stay at the crease long enough to ensure the tail enders were able to end the match with a draw for the touring team.

Matt Prior who remained not out was splendid as he remained at the crease till the results of the match were announced as a draw and made sure he stayed with the tail enders during their second innings to not give up hope against a defeat which looked very eminent.New Zealand bowlers had no answer to his brilliant display of batting.

New Zealand on the other hand will be very unhappy as they were just a wicket away from Victory during the final few moments of the last day (26/03/2013).Their best highlights of bowling were Kane Williamson who picked up four wickets.Trent Boult and Tim Southee picked up 1 and 2 wickets respectively.

Even though the results did not go in their favor New Zealand tried hard but the touring team was better on the fifth day and the way the match was fought out between the two teams the result was apt.

After Pakistan won their previous match against South Africa to level the series 2-2,the Fifth momentum One day international (ODI) cricket match held between Pakistan and South Africa on 24/03/2013 saw the proteas come back strongly and win the match comfortably to win the momentum ODI Series 3-2..

The Fifth ODI (One Day International) between South Africa and Pakistan on 24/03/2013 saw the touring team win the toss and choose to bat.The full innings of Pakistan batting looked to be out of sorts as they kept loosing regular wickets,the best highlights of their innings was  Kamran Akmal who made 48 runs of 51 balls.The only other notable performances were by Misbah Ul Haq,Younis Khan and Shoaib Malik who made 24,29 and 28 runs respectively.The team ended with a score of 205 before they were bowled out

South Africa while bowling as always were led by Dale Steyn who contained the batsman very well and picked up a wicket in the process.The highlights of South Africa Bowling were undoubtedly Ryan McLaren and Morne Morkel who picked up 3 and 2 wickets respectively.Lonwabo Tsotsobe,Robin Peterson and Farhaan Behardien also picked up a wicket each.It was only because of their splendid bowling that the results in this final ODI tilted in their favor.

When the proteas came into bat they lost a wicket of Quinton De Kock early but their innings was steadied with a good partnership between Hashim Amla and AB De Villiers with Amla making 22 runs before he was out.Farhaan Behardien also gave good company to AB De Villiers and made 35 runs before he was out.AB De Villiers remained not out at 95 and dave miller not out at 20 as they reached the target with 36 balls remaining and ended on a score of 208/4.

The Pakistan cricket team will be a bit disappointed after the results as they would have liked to win the momentum one day international series after being down and out during the test series against the proteas.

India Vs Australia 24/03/2013 - 4th Test Results

India Vs Australia 24/03/2013 - 4th Test Results,Review and Statistical Highlights

The 3rd day of the fourth cricket test match between India and Australia held on 24/03/2013 saw the results going in favor of the Indians.The day saw plenty of wickets going down and once again the Australian Tail enders stuck around and made sure Australia had a competitive total on the scoreboard to put pressure on India.The target set by the Australians was 155 which the Indians achieved comfortably in the end to win by 6 wickets.

After the results of third test match went in India's favor the fourth cricket test match between India and Australia which ended on 24/03/2013 saw Australia winning the toss and electing to bat.Australia's batting failed once again with the only best highlights of their first innings being Peter Siddle who was not out at a score of 51.The other contributions were by Steven Smith,Phil Hughes and Ed Cowan who made 46,45 and 38 runs respectively.They ended up with a score of 262 runs.

Indian Bowling was once again dominated by the spinners with Ravichandran Ashwin,Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja picking up 5,2 and 2 wickets respectively.

When India came to bat during their first innings they started off well with an opening partnership of 108 runs between Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara.After the opening partnership however they lost their way a bit with the only other good performance being by Ravindra Jadeja who made 43 runs.They ended up with a score of 272 runs.

The best Highlights of the Australian bowling was Nathan Lyon who picked up 7 wickets.Peter Siddle and Glenn Maxwell who picked up a wicket each as well.

During the second innings of Australia batting on 24/03/2013 the pitch seemed to be worn out but the Australians did well to make 164 before they were all out.This set India a target of 155 which didn't look easy on a third day pitch which was turning square.

The highlights of the Indian bowling in the second innings once again were the spinners with Ravindra Jadeja picking up 5 wickets,Ashwin and Ojha picking up two wickets each.

When India came into bat during their second innings they didn't seem to be in a spot of bother and won the match comfortably in the end by 6 wickets.The highlights of the second innings of the Indian innings was Cheteshwar Pujara who was not out at 82 and Virat Kholi who made 41 which helped in the results going in favor of the home team.

After the results of the Fourth test match India have now won the test series 4-0.

The 3rd day of the 3rd cricket test match between England and New Zealand held on 24/03/2013 started with the touring team at a score of 50/2.The way today's play has ended we are almost guaranteed to have a result in this test match as two full days play are still remaining.The Kiwis will be happy with their performance at the end of play today and the touring team might just be a little on the back foot.

New Zealand Vs England 23/03/2013 - 3rd Test - Day 2 Review and Statistical highlights

New Zealand dominated the opening day of the second cricket test match against England yesterday.After ending the day on a high at a score of 250 for the loss of 1 wicket.The second day's play on 23/03/2013 also favored the black caps but i feel they might be a little disappointed with their score after they managed only 443 after being in a very dominant position yesterday.

The second day's play between New Zealand and England on 23/03/2013 started off with Kane Williamson and Peter Fulton not out at a score of 124 and 83 respectively.They both were eventually out for a score of 136 and 91 respectively.Apart from williamson and fulton there were not many batsman in the New Zealand team who converted their starts into a big innings.The only highlights apart from them were Tim Southee, Brendon McCullam and Dean Brownlee who made 44,38 and 36 runs respectively.

England Bowling on day 2 was much better with all of their bowlers contributing.The highlight of their bowling was Steven Finn who picked up 6 wickets for 125 runs and James Anderson who picked up 2 wickets for 79 runs.When they came into bat during their first innings they lost two wickets for the score of 50 runs at the end of the day's play.Nick Compton and Ian Bell remained not out at a score of 12 and 4 runs respectively.

Trent Boult was the highlight of New Zealand bowling picking up two wickets and the home team will be mighty pleased with their performance especially since they took two important wickets before ending the day.

Both England and New Zealand during the day's play on 23/03/2013 looked to get the upper hand and that's what has now made this match very evenly poised.Its still very difficult to predict which direction this match is actually heading.

New Zealand Vs England 22/03/2013 - Review and Statistical Highlights

New Zealand Vs England 22/03/2013 - 1st day -Review,Statistical Highlights and Analysis

The First day of the third cricket test match between New Zealand and England held on 22/03/2013 started off with England winning the toss and choosing to field.At the end of day's play the touring team might not be too pleased with their efforts as the it ended in the favor of the home team who made a score of 250 for the loss of just one wicket.

New Zealand seem to be well in the drivers seat the end at the end of the play today.The England bowling will need to make early inroads tomorrow if they do not want the home team to make a huge score in their first innings to cause them a headache.

Tomorrow's play promises to be a cracker with both the teams looking to take the initiative.It will be interesting to see how the plans of both the teams change going into the second day's play.

The fourth ODI (One day International) Cricket match held between Pakistan and South Africa held on 21/03/2013 started on a very bright side with the touring team blowing away the South African top order.At one stage South Africa were reeling at a score of 38 for the loss of four wickets.A partnership between AB De Villiers and David miller who made 75 and 67 runs respectively helped them reach a par score of 234 for the loss of 7 wickets at the end of their 50 overs.Mohammed Irfan,Junaid Khan and Saeed Ajmal were the highlights of the Pakistan bowling with each of them picking up 3 wickets.

When Pakistan came into bat,Much like South Africa they were also in a spot of bother at a score of 33 for the loss of 3 wickets but a partnership between Imran Farhat and Mishbah-Ul-Haq who made 93 and 80 runs respectively laid the foundation for their remaining batsman to reach the target comfortably with an over and two balls to spare.Pakistan eventually won the match by 3 wickets and ended with a score of 236 for the loss of 7 wickets with Shoaib Malik and Saeed Ajmal remaining not out at a score of 19 and 5 respectively.

South African's toiled hard while bowling with Robin Peterson picking up two wickets and Dale Steyn,Lonwabo Tsotsobe and Rory Kleinveldt picking up 1 wicket each.

Mishbah Ul Haq was selected as the player of the match.During the presentation he said that he was happy with the results of the match with the team putting in their 100 percent effort today.

The series is now level with both the teams winning 2 matches each.

The results of the fifth one day international cricket match between the two teams will determine who takes the momentum cup.Pakistan will be hoping to win this series after they had a torrid time during the test series.

The Second cricket test match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka held between 16/03/2013 and 19/03/2013 came to an end during the fourth day's play itself.The Batsman in the Bangladesh team couldn't capitalize on the starts which gave the Sri Lankan's an advantage of chasing a very low target of 160 in their second innings which was a cake walk for them.

Bangladesh batting in their first innings was disappointing as most of their batsmen got starts but none of them went on to make a big score.Mominul Haq and Nasir Hossain made 64 and 48 runs respectively and were the highlights of the Bangladeshi batting.

Sri Lanka's batting during their first innings was not spectacular apart from Kumar Sangakarra and Dinesh Chandimal who made 139 and 102 runs respectively.Apart from them all their batsman failed and they were bundled out for 346 runs

While bowling Bangladesh were not that bad but were blown away by the partnership between Kumar Sangakarra and Dinesh Chandimal.Sohag Gazi was the highlight of the Bangladesh bowling as he picked up 3 wickets.Robiul Islam,Abul Hasan,Rubel Hossain picked up 2 wickets each and Mahmullah picked up a wicket as well.

Much like their first innings the second innings batting of Bangladesh saw various batsman getting starts but none of them going on to get the big one.Tamim Iqbal and Jahurul Islam made a decent contribution of 59 and 48 runs respectively.

In the second innings Rangana Herath was much better and was again the highlight of the Sri Lankan bowling after he picked up 7 wickets.Shaminda Eranga and Tillakaratne Dilshan picked up 2 and one 1 wicket respectively to restrict the Bangladesh team to a score of 265

Sri Lankan batsmen needed a score of 160 runs in their second innings to win the second test match.After the initial hiccup where they lost the wicket of Dimuth Karunaratne,things were steadied by Kumar Sangakara and Tillakaratne Dilshan who made 55 and 57 runs respectively.The Sri Lankan's won the match comfortably by 7 wickets.Robiul Islam and Sohag Gazi from the Bangladesh team picked up 2 and 1 wicket respectively.This victory helped Sri Lanka won the 2 test match series 1-0.

India Vs Australia (14/03/2013 - 18/03/2013) - 3rd Test - Results,Review and Statistical Highlights

The 3rd Cricket test match between India and Australia held from 14/03/2013 to 18/03/2013 was very important for Australia as they somehow needed to bounce back after they lost the first and the second test match.During this tour Australia's batting has done well in patches but have not been consistent as they have lost bulk of the wickets from time to time triggering a collapse.

Statistical Highlights

At the third test match held between India and Australia from 14/03/2013 to 18/03/2013 the Australians won the toss and chose to bat and did so splendidly as their opening batsman had a brilliant partnership of 139 with Ed Cowan and David Warner making 86 and 71 runs respectively.After their initial partnership they lost their way and at one stage were 151 for the loss of 3 wickets.There was only one more partnership between Steven Smith and Mitchell Starc with both making 92 and 99 runs respectively that helped the Aussies make a score of 408 in their first innings.

Almost everyone contributed when India bowled during the1st innings.Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja picked up 3 wickets each along with Ravichandran Ashwin and Pragyan Ojha who picked up 2 wickets each.

The Indian batting in the first innings started with a superb partnership between Shikar Dhawan and Murali Vijay who made 187 and 153 runs respectively.Apart from them it was only Virat Kholi who made 67 runs and remained not out as India suffered a collapse and lost their ten wickets for the score of 499 runs.

Peter Siddle was the highlight of the Australian bowling in the first innings as he picked up 5 wickets.Mitchell Starc picked up two wickets and Moises Henriques,Nathan Lyon and Steven Smith picked up 1 wicket each.

The Australians much like the earlier test matches struggled in their second innings while batting as they were bowled out for 223 with only Philip Hughes and Mitchell Starc making a worthy contribution of 69 and 35 respectively.

During India's Bowling in the second innings Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravindra Jadeja picked up 3 wickets each.Ravichandran Ashwin and Pragyan Ojha picked up 2 wickets each.

This set India a target of 133 runs to seal the series.Shikar Dhawan didn't come out to bat because of an injury.Pujara and Vijay played well initially making 26 and 28 runs respectively.Virat Kholi made 34 runs and Sachin Tendulkar made 21 but it was the partnership between Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni that took India home.

The Australian bowlers didn't give anything away and made India earn their runs in the second innings.The pick of their bowlers in the second innings were Mitchell Starc who contained India  before they won by 6 wickets.Peter Siddle,Nathan Lyon and Xavier Doherty picked up one wicket each.

New Zealand Vs England 18/03/2013 - 2nd Test Match - Results,Review and Statistical Highlights

The second cricket test match between New Zealand and England which was held between 14/03/2013 to 18/03/2013 has ended in a draw.There was a very good chance of an England win but the home team resisted on the final day and will be happy with the result after they were forced to follow on.

Statistical Highlights

The 2nd test match between England and New Zealand held between 14th to18/03/2013 started off with the New Zealand winning the toss and choosing to field.In the first innings Bruce Martin was the pick of the bowlers for the black caps after he picked up 4 wickets and was supported by Trent Boult,Kane Williamson and Neil Wagner with each of them picking up 2 wickets.

England's batting  in the first innings was good with Nick Compton,Jonathan Trott,Kevin Pietersen and Matthew Prior making the bulk of the score by making 100,121,73 and 82 respectively.This helped their score to wrap up at a respectable total of 465.

New Zealand will be a bit disappointed with their batting as Kane Williamson,Brendon McCullam and BJ Walting made 42,69 and 60 respectively but were not able to capitalize on their starts.Their innings ended at a score of  254 and were forced to follow on.

Stuart Broad was the highlight of the England bowling during the first innings as he picked up 6 wickets and was supported well by James Anderson and Steven Finn who picked up two wickets each.

The Second innings batting by New Zealand was much better as Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor's innings made sure they took the match towards a draw.

Nothing much happened when England bowled but this will definitely be a moral victory for the touring team considering Broad returning back to form and picking up 6 wickets in the first innings.The form of Jonathan Trott,Nick Compton,Kevin Pietersen and Matthew Prior will also be welcomed by the team going into the third test.

South Africa Vs Pakistan 17/03/2013 - 3rd ODI Results

South Africa Vs Pakistan 17/03/2013 - 3rd ODI - Results,Review and Statistical Highlights

The third ODI (One day international) cricket match between South Africa and Pakistan held on 17/03/2013 featured a brilliant hundred by AB De Villiers and Hashim Amla which really laid the foundation for Faf Du Plessis to make a quick fire 45 of just 19 balls to stretch the score of the proteas to 343.After being down and out in the Second ODI this was a much better performance by the South Africans.

Pakistan on the other hand fought very hard with Shahid Afridi making a brilliant 88 of just 48 balls and Mohammed Hafeez making 57 of 49 balls but at the end of the day this was not good enough as they lost the match by 34 Runs

Statistical Highlights:

Pakistan won the toss during the third One day International held on 17/03/2013 and chose to field but things did not go as planned as their bowling looked a little weak today especially with Wahab Riaz who went for 93 runs in his allocated ten overs.Apart from Wahab Riaz all their other bowlers were quite expensive with the exception of Mohammed Irfan who picked up two wickets for 34 runs in 7 overs and Junaid Khan who went for just 42 runs in his ten overs without picking up a wicket.The only other wicket taker was Saeed Ajmal who picked up 1 wicket for 62 runs.
Cricket logoSouth Africa dominated while batting with Hashim Amla ,AB De villiers making 122 and 128 runs respectively.Faf Du Plessis made a quick fire 45 of just 19 balls to stretch the score of South Africa to 343 in their allocated 50 overs to set a target of 344 for the touring team.
Pakistan's batting started with Nasir Jamshed failing once again but the innings was solidified to an extent by Kamran Akmal and  Mohammed Hafeez who made 30(42) and 57(49) respectively.The real highlight of the Pakistan's innings however was Shahid Afridi who made 88 runs of just 48 balls but after his wicket things went haywire and Pakistan  team were bundled out for a total of 309.

When South Africa were bowling during the 3rd ODI on 17/03/2013 much like their opponents they too struggled with the ball and were quite expensive.Dale Steyn was good and economic as always but didn't get a wicket.Lonwabo Tsotsobe and Ryan McLaren picked up 3 wickets each but were quite expensive.The other wicket takers were Robin Peterson who picked up two wickets,Rory Kleinveldt  and Dale Steyn who picked up 1 wicket.

South Africa eventually won the match by 34 runs and lead the 5 match ODI Series 2-1 with 2 matches still to go.

The 2nd One Day International (ODI) Cricket match between South Africa and Pakistan held on 15/03/2013 saw a Pakistan fightback and a convincing win by them after being down and out in their first one day international held on 10/03/2013.The match for a short time was interrupted by rain and was reduced to 44 overs.

South Africa won the toss and elected to bat but struggled throughout their innings and lost wickets consistently.At one stage they were 62 runs for a loss of 5 wickets.A decent partnership between Farhaan Behardien and Robin Peterson steadied the innings to an extent.There was then a rain interruption which reduced the match to 44 overs and the Proteas managed to only make 191 runs in their allocated overs.

Mohammad Irfan wrecked havoc picking up four wickets and was well supported by Saeed Ajmal,Junaid Khan and Mohammed Hafeez who picked up 2 wickets to keep the Proteas in check.

When Pakistan came into back apart from the initial hiccup where they lost Nasir Jamshed looked to be comfortable.The South Africans toiled hard while bowling and tried to pull things back by picking up quick wickets and putting the touring team in a spot of bother at a score of 69 for 4 but at the end of the day a steady Partnership between Mishbah-Ul-Haq and Shoaib Malik who made 57 and 35 runs each ensured they took their team home.

South African Bowling didn't look too bad.Apart from Robin peterson who picked up two wickets everyone else was decent but the touring team were a bit better and won the match comfortably in the end by 6 wickets.

Pakistan have now leveled the 5 match ODI Series 1-1 with 3 matches still to go.

Mohammad Irfran was selected as a player of the match for his four wickets and was undoubtedly the highlight of Pakistan's bowling.

The first one day international cricket match between Pakistan and South Africa(held on 10/03/2013)started on a high note for Pakistan as they won the toss and elected to field first.The South Africans however won the match convincingly towards the end by 125 Runs with Colin Ingram making a century while batting and Rory Kleinveldt picking up four wickets to help South Africa attain a lead in the 5 match series.

Statistical Highlights:

South Africa had a steady first wicket partnership when they were batting with the opening batsman making a stand of 72 runs.Pakistan pulled things back to an extent when they picked up a couple of wickets(Graeme Smith and Hashim Amla)quickly but after that a magnificent partnership between Colin Ingram and AB De Villiers took the match in the favor of South Africa with both making 65 and 105 runs respectively to lay the foundation for the remaining batsman to reach a score of 315 Runs.

Almost all the bowlers in the Pakistan team got a stick and the highlight of Pakistan bowling was again Saeed Ajmal who picked up 2 wickets for 53 Runs.

Pakistan batting started with a lot of positivity and in the beginning it really looked like the target might be too easy for the Pakistan team to chase down.The highlight of the Pakistan batting was Misbah Ul Haq who made a slow 38 Runs of 55 balls.

South Africa bowling initially took a stick but steadied things quickly after they picked up the openers.Rory Kleinvedlt's bowling was excellent as he picked up 4 wickets for 22 runs and was undoubtedly the highlight of the South African bowling.

India Vs Australia 2013 - 2nd Test Results

India Vs Australia 2013 - 2nd Test - Results,Review and Statistical highlights

After winning the First Cricket Test Match against Australia the Indian Cricket team had their confidence high and came out all guns blazing during the 2nd test match.Even though the Australian Cricket team won the toss and elected to bat they never had enough Runs on the board to challenge India.Especially after India made a huge first innings score of 503.

Full Statistical Highlights

In the first innings of Australian batting once again apart from Michael Clarke it was only Matthew Wade who looked good enough and both of them had a partnership of 145 runs.Michael Clarke and Matthew Wade made a score of  91 and 62 respectively.

Mahendra Singh DhoniBhuvneshwar Kumar bowled splendidly during the Australian first innings picking up three vital wickets of David Warner,Ed Cowan and Shane Watson.He was well supported by Harbhajan Singh and Ravindra Jadeja who picked up 2 and 3 wickets respectively.

The highlight of the Indian first innings was the 370 run partnership between Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara with both of them making a score of 167 and 204 respectively.There was a bit of stability shown by Virat Kholi and MS Dhoni who made 34 and 44 runs respectively but besides them no one could really stay on a  pitch which was spinning square by now.

Australian second innings should a bit of stability initally when David Warner and Ed Cowan added 56 runs for the first wicket and on the third day at stumps they were 74 for 2.All hell broke loose on the fourth day today and the Australians were bundled out for just 131 runs.

R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja did most of the damage picking up 5 and 3 wickets respectively and the way the Australians batted today it never really looked like they had a chance against the lethal Indian Spin attack.

Indians have now won the 2nd test match by an innings and 135 runs after winning the first test match which now gives them a lead of unassailable lead of 2-0 in the series with 2 test matches still left to go.

South Vs Pakistan 2013 - 2nd T20 Results

South Africa Vs Pakistan 2013 - 2nd T20 - Results,Review and Statistical Highlights

After South Africa won the test series convincingly by dominating all the three test matches and winning the series 3-0 against Pakistan the 2nd Twenty20 cricket match between the two teams today was a different ball game with the touring team making amends and thanks to umar gul's superb bowling spell helping them win the Twenty20 cricket match comfortably by 95 runs.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat but lost Nasir Jamshed quite early when their score was 29 runs but then came a brilliant partnership between Mohammed Hafeez and Ahmed Shehzad who made 86(65) and 46(25) balls respectively helping Pakistan to reach a target of 195 which was quite huge.

Kyle Abbott who made amends in his test debut went for plenty of runs while South Africa were bowling.So did the other bowlers.The highlights of the South African Bowling was Rory Kleinveldt who picked up 2 wickets for 27 runs and Chris Morris who picked up 2 wickets for 35 Runs.

No one apart from AB de Villiers got off to a start during the South African batting.He made 36 runs of 22 balls but there was not much of a support for him from the other end and the South Africans were eventually bundled out for just a 100 runs.

Umar Gul and Mohammed Hafeez were the best highlights of the Pakistan bowling attack with both picking up 5 and 3 wickets respectively and helping Pakistan achieve a well deserved victory after a lean test series.
