Galatasaray tried to be aggressive by attacking more than defending and sent their men forward any chance they got.They did get a few chances but failed to capitalize on them.

Ronaldo who scored his 9th championship goal of the season and Karim Benzema took full advantage of wide spaces that were given to them.Galatasaray were tight during the second half but still leaked another goal to Gonzalo Higuain.It was at this point that the results looked to be in firm grip of Real Madrid.

There was a bit of a surprise before the match when Jose Mourinho selected Benzema who was actually out of form,his gamble however almost paid off as he nearly had a goal early on when he ran onto Mesut Ozil's cross.

Galatasaray on the other hand had a chance of leveling when Didier Drogba moved away from Raphael Varane towards the edge of the box,But again it just didn't look like it was Galatasary's day as his left footed effort turned out to be too high.Its moment such as these that the results of the match depend on.

The other highlights showed Wesley Sneijder firing wide with two long range efforts but  he was stopped by Ozil from Muslera with a low drive.

Galatasaray looked to threaten but looked a little shaky as they conceded a poor second goal when Michael Essien Swung over a ring wing cross which the two defenders failed to stop,this allowed Benzema to sweep home.

Drogba Created a chance for Burak Yilmaz before lopez made the save from Emmanuel Eboue.Midfielder Felipe Melo from Gala tried a shot straight to Lopez but the efforts from Ronaldo and Angel Di Maria seem to threaten Gala after the hour mark.

Towards the end of the football match between Real Madrid and Galatasaray held on 03/04/2013,the final highlights showed Real Madrid grabbing a third goal which sealed the results in their favor 3-0

The Baseball match between Texas Rangers and Houston Astros on 02/04/2013 saw Yu Darvish shining as he had a perfect game getting 2 outs in the 9th inning.This was one of my favorite games i watched whole day yesterday.

The highlights of the Texas Rangers Vs Houston Astros Baseball match on 02/04/2013 was undoubtedly Yu Darvish (1-0) who went through the initial four innings and ended up striking out nine which included the side in the second and fourth.

The pitches by Yu Darvish included a fastball which topped 97 MPH,A slider and 9 MPH cutters which the Astros found tough to pick.

Carter hit the ball hard and it was in the air for a long time,at a time where it surely looked like a homer,David Murphy caught it in front of the left center wall.Mitch moreland also picked up a nice catch on a liner by Ankiel for the second out.

The other highlights of the match involved Micheal Kirkman who fanned pinch hitter J.D. Martinez following the single by Jose Altuve.

Lucas Harrell (0-1) run's score of single in the third.He ended with three hits and two RBI'S.

Kinsler hit two homeruns from Rhiner Cruz in the seventh inning to get the score up to 3-0.Texas rangers then added 2 runs in the eight and the ninth inning.

Nemo lovers will be excited to know that the sequel to the super hit 2003 computer-animated, comedy-drama,adventure family film directed by Andrew Stanton has been announced.If the Finding Nemo Sequel 'Finding Dory' is even close to how the first movie was,the kids and those who love this animated movie are in for a treat.The film is set to float its way during thanksgiving weekend on November 25,2015.

Characters

The voice of the characters Marlin and Dory will be dubbed by Albert Brooks and Ellen DeGenres who were the part of the first movie as well.

As you might know it Dory and Ellen are two inseparable characters in the movie and we can expect them to have major roles in Finding Dory as well.

Story

The film is expected to take place a year post events where Nemo disappeared and was found with great difficulty.This time the story will revolve around Dory who helped Nemo find the way back home.The other characters from the previous film are also expected to make a return.

The earlier movie has won a lot of awards and achievements and was one of the favorite movies for kids to watch.Apart from the kids there were a lot of middle age and adults who also appreciated the movie.There is a mind block among many people that if a movie is an animated one it must be for kids,thankfully this movie changed the trend among many i know.

The film also officially won 2003 academy award for the best animated movie.There were many merchandises as well as a video game which was released based on the movie which did quite well to an extent.

The good news for the fans of animated movies is that it just does not end with the release date of this movie.The other movies lined up for release are

The highlights of Cole Hamel (0-1) from Philadelphia Phillies showed him giving up five runs on seven hits,which included three homeruns,five strikeouts and a walk in five innings.The changing moment of results of the match was undoubtedly the three home runs scored.

Uggla did well in the second inning helping Braves with their second homerun and was soon accompanied by Justin Upton who scored a homerun as well.I think they played very well against the Philadelphia Phillies on monday night (01/04/2013)

Hudson was quite expensive as he gave up six hits and three runs in 4 1/3 innings.He did quite well until Chase Utley led off the fourth with a homerun and drove in two runs.

The other notable highlights was Luis Avilan (1-0) who took over for Hudson and pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings.Craig Kimbrel also chipped in by pitching a perfect ninth inning for the save.

Upton's home run came post Utley's  single  off hudson which helped Atlanta's lead to 4-3

The Braves then scored two runs off chad durbin in the sixth inning.John Mayberry Jr. doubled off Jordon Walden in the eight inning to move to third on walden's aggressive pitch.Philadelphia Phillies will be a little disappointed to see the results show an easy victory from the Atlanta braves but on 01/04/2013 it was the aggressive braves was deserved the victory.The full score of the baseball match was

The basketball match between Louisville Cardinals and Duke Blue Devils on 31/03/2013 at the N.C.A.A tournament started with a lot of anticipation among the Basketball fans.The game did not disappoint in anyway whatsoever and the results were truly inspirational.

The first half of the match saw Kevin Ware of Louisville Cardinals sustaining an open fracture to his right leg,which ended up with many not able to control their emotions.After Ware's fracture,the four cardinals held each other up at the center of the court,several of them almost fainted and others ended up crying and fainting.Coach Rick Pitino was also in tears.Players who were at the bench were saying prayers,hoping the results go in their favor.

After so many prayers and emotions were seen in the match,Pitino during half time told his team they needed to win the basketball match against Duke Blue Devils for Ware.

Louisville was on fire and really looked to be in focus against the Duke Blue Devils after they unleashed a torrent of layups and steals,Blocks,Dunks and did everything in their power to overcome the Blue Devils.The Louisville Cardinals (33-5) shot 59.2 percent in the second half to win the basketball match comfortably.

The highlights of the basketball match between Louisville Cardinals and Duke Blue Devils on 31/03/2013 was when it was less than four minutes into the second half.This part of the play was truly amazing as Mason Plumlee dunked in a putback which tied the score 42-42.Smith then hit a layup and Siva hit a jumper,Behanan made a steal and within just a few mintues Louisville was on 17-2 run.

The best highlights were undoubtedly Siva and Smith.Siva scored 10 of his 16 points post halftime and earned a game high 23 points to win the regions most outstanding player award.Unbelievably,the Louisville Cardinals were only 2 of 13 from the 3 point line.They scored a staggering 42 points in the lane which helped them turn the results to their favor.

The last few moments of the game were emotional as after the buzzer Ware's jersey was held high and a few people were seen with tears in their eyes after an emotional victory against the Duke Blue Devils.

The final results showed a score of 85-63.After Ware's fracture it looked like the chances of the results going in favor of Louisville were slim but the way they played the match they truly deserved the victory.

Miami Heat's loss to the Chicago Bulls yesterday (27/03/2013) saw history being created.The streak of Miami heat's 27 victories was finally broken when Chicago bulls defeated them at a score of 101-97.This was followed by a huge celebration.

The team will be a little disappointed after the final results showed them as the loosing side as they were just 6 wins short of creating a record which Los Angeles Lakers hold since 1972-73 of winning 33 matches in a stretch.

The NBA match between Chicago Bulls and Miami heat on 27/03/2013 saw James trying to make a

comeback for Miami Heat to keep the steak alive during the final moments of the game after a rough foul but fell a little short.

The highlights of the match for Miami Heat was when there was one-tenths of a second left and James took the final inbounds of the pass at his own end,dropped the ball for the time to expire,turned and made his way towards the exit.

The other notable highlights for the Chicago Bulls was Loul Deng who scored 28 points,Carlos Boozer who scored 21 points and 17 rebounds

James did his best to keep the streak alive but it was just not their night.Chris Bosh scored 21 points and wade made 18 points before a sore knee sidelined him.The results

The Voice 25/03/2013 - Season 4 premiere Review - Shakira and Usher join the show

The Popular American reality talent show is back for a fourth season.This year will see two new Judges Shakira and Usher.Those who made a return at The Voice 25/03/2013 from the last show  were Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.Usher and Shakira took the Place of Christina Aguilera and Cee lo Green who recently departed from the show.

I don't think the new judges are a bad addition to the show as its always good to see some new faces rather than the show going stale.The season 4 Premiere also saw the beautiful Shakira openly criticizing a few singers and also joking about it by saying 'I know i got to keep it under control or you guys will make my life miserable'

Usher on the other hand looked quite chilled out at The Voice 25/03/2013 .Both the new judges comfortably in place while they sat in their chairs and it never looked like they were not a part of the show earlier.

Denny Hamlin car crash results in him being hospitalized

Denny Hamlin Car Crash results in him being airlifted to a hospital

Denny Hamlin who is a popular American Nascar race car driver has been hospitalized following his Auto Club 400 car crash.As per the news,the Denny Hamlin Car Crash has resulted in him being airlifted to a hospital where he will remain overnight.

His girlfriend 'Jordan Fish' has also posted a tweet on her twitter page thanking everyone for their support.

The incident took place when Denny was drag racing with Joey Logano.As the incident occured Logano went into the outside wall whereas Hamlin went into the inside wall which resulted in Kye Busch sailing towards victory.There is also said to be an ongoing feud between Denny and Logano with both of them having a war of words on twitter.

Even though Hamlin seemed to show some kind of a remorse last week Logano does not look to be in a mood of forgetting everything yet.

Jordan Fish also stated in her tweet that her boyfriend was alert and awake and the only concern for them as of now was his back since he was hospitalized.The name of the hospital he was hospitalized in was not revealed.

For those who would like to pray for this awesome nascar driver can use the twitter and tweet using the hashtag #prayersfordh.

Kyle Busch on the other hand was very happy as the Auto Club 400 was his first victory of the season and said he was hoping to get through to the finish line before the car crash.

Hopefully the Denny Hamlin Car crash in the Auto club 400 would not cause much on an impact on the career of this awesome nascar driver and we will see him being released from the hospital and back to action soon.

A new season of the dance competition television show called as dancing with the stars kicked off on 18/03/2013 (Monday) with a lot of anticipation among people who love dance shows.The Show featured some of the most well known contestants such as Figure Skater and the Olympic champion Dorothy Hamill,Jacoby Jones and the comedian Andy Dick.

The Dancing with the Stars season 16 premiere held on 18/03/2013 also showed a few contestants who have already been a part of reality Television in the past such as Sean Lowe,Lisa Vanderpump (The real housewives of Beverly hills) and Kellie Pickler (American Idol).

Biggest Loser,a reality Television show which is centered around the contestants who lose weight to fight for cash prize has completed its 14th season on 18/03/2013.The winner is none other than Danni Allen who lost a staggering 46.9% of her body weight.

Biggest Loser is one of the few shows which actually helps in improving the lifestyle and health of the contestants which is always great to see.Danni Allen who lost 121 pounds after intense workouts throughout the season with Jillian Michaels won a cash prize of 250,000$.

Danni beat her fellow contestants namely Jeff Nichols and Jackson Carter who were mighty impressive as well.Nichols who finished second lost 46.6% of his body weight.

While watching the Season finale on 18/03/2013 i was hoping to see Danni Allen win it and she sure did with style.I don't think the other contestants were too bad either especially Jeff  Nichols who finished second.

St. Patrick's day 17/03/2013 - Things you Might not know

To start off let me wish all you guys a very happy,healthy and a safe St. Patrick's day.For those who don't know,St. Patrick's day which is today (17/03/2013) is a festival that takes place every year on March 17th and is celebrated around the world in countries such as United States,Ireland,Canada,Great Britain,Japan,Australia,New Zealand,Switzerland,South Korea among many other countries and includes parades among other festivities.The day is an official holiday for places such as republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

This years festival on 17/03/2013  is also being celebrated with full enthusiasm around the world.Its so great to see a festival lift up the spirits of so many people.A few of my friends in Dublin confirmed that the festival is being celebrated with no loss of enthusiasm despite the chilly weather around the area.People are lining up in the streets waiting to see the parade and there are many tourists who are at the location as well.

Apart from whats happening today i thought i will share with you guys a few things you might not know about the festival.

Things you might not know:

• St. Patrick was not irish and he did not drive away all the snakes as there weren't any in the island.
• The color associated with St. Patrick is actually blue and not green
• Largest Parade of the festival is held outside Ireland
• A three leaf Shamrock was used to explain the holy trinity.

I have heard a lot about how much fun the occasion generally is but have been unfortunate so far to never experience it.Hopefully in the next few years i will get a chance to see exactly how it feels when i personally experience the parades and all the festivities around.How do you normally celebrate the occasion and what are your plans of a celebration of St. Patrick's day on 17/03/2013?

Florida Sinkhole Swallows man of his bedroom

A Florida Sinkhole swallows a man from his bedroom.

A man while sleeping in his bedroom on Sunday was swallowed by a Sinkhole in Florida.The Florida Sinkhole was 20 feet wide and  the opening was covered by the house.The rescue operation was called off by the fire and rescue team because of fears that the house might collapse on them.Two neighboring houses were also evacuated as a precaution.

The Crew are now planning to demolish the house over the Florida sinkhole as it has now become very dangerous for the fire and rescue team to continue on the pursuit of the man who fell on Sunday night.

It has also been said that there are hardly any houses in Florida which are immune from the phenomenon and this is also said to be common within the area.

How are Sinkholes Formed

You might wonder how these holes are actually formed especially the Florida Sinkhole that swallowed a man.To answer the question these are mostly formed by the process of suffosion.In Short a sinkhole which is also called as a sink, snake hole, swallow hole, swallet, doline, or cenote is a natural depression or hole in the Earth's surface which is caused by karst processes

For example,Carbonate cement holding the sandstone particles that is dissolved by groundwater may carry away the lax particles which gradually causes a void.Apart from Florida Sinkholes this phenomenon is generally found all over the world.In the United States the they are common in places such as Texas,Alabama, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and Florida,as per the U.S. Geological Survey.

Sinkhole Facts:

A few facts that will help you determine if you might also be having the problem is

• Cracking in your walls, floor, pavement
• Slumping or sagging trees
• Formation of small puddles where water is collecting during rains.
• Physical depressions or holes in the yard of the street
• Not able to close doors and windows properly

The Florida Sinkhole was the first time i heard about such a phenomenon and i somehow feel that the last decade has shown us a lot of new things about the nature.Hopefully we as people can learn from all the natures signs and try to contribute towards lessening the Global Warming and pollution wherever possible to make this world a better and a safer place to live in.

Oscar Awards 2013 was a movie awards function which was just as prestigious as Grammy Award 2013 was for music.At the show we saw some of the most beautiful actresses with their lovely dresses making their presence felt at the Oscar Awards 2013 results show.

When i saw the show most of the results were expected with the beautiful Jennifer Lawrence winning the Best Actress award for her fantastic performance in the silver linings playbook.

Argo also received multiple awards such as best picture,adapted screenplay and editing.Adele's Skyfall which was one of the best songs in recent times won the award for the best original song.

The highlight of the oscar awards 2013 results for me however was Brave winning the best animated movie award.I always thought Brave was a better animated movie in comparison to the other movies released.

Lightning Strike at St. Peter's Basilica after Pope Resignation

This might just be another reason to believe that god does exist.When Pope Benedict XVI shocked the world by his announcement of resignation a footage from Monday evening showed the top of St Peter's Basilica struck by lightning during a severe thunderstorm over the Vatican.The Lightning Strike at St. Peter's Basilica might just be gods way of showing a sign.

The video showed the sky being lit up before there was a lightning strike at St. Peter's Basilica.

The news of resignation was a shock to the world as this has been the first time in over 700 years.Pope Benedict XVI in his resignation said that he did not have the physical or the mental strength to carry on.

While the news itself was alarming to many the lightning strike at St. Peter's Basilica suggests that the gods also seemed to be quite surprised.

In the past there have been many instances where something unexpected has happened through nature trying to give us a clue which we don't understand.What we can understand is that god cannot come down to show his emotions and the lightning strike at St. Peter's Basilica might just be his own way of showing a reaction

A week ago i didn't even know who Kate Upton was but after knowing about the Sports Illustrated 2013 i can definitely say that she is one of the most hottest Super models around.Kate Upton hot look in Sports illustrated 2013 have sent many fans going gaga over the supermodel who is just 20 years old.

This is the second year in a row that Kate has featured in the cover of sports illustrated after showing her beautiful self in the cover last year as well.

Kate Upton hot look is not the only thing to be featured for two consecutive years in the magazine.

The other well known models who were also featured in the magazine for more than a year were 

• Christie Brinkley (1979, 1980 and 1981)
• Elle MacPherson (1986, 1987 and 1988).

She was featured in the first cover of the magazine's swimsuit issue and was also called as the Rookie of the Year for her first appearance within the magazine.Kate is 5-foot-10 inches tall and was born in Michigan but raised in Florida.

The Solomon Islands Tsunami causes widespread Panic

The Solomon Islands Tsunami is one of the scariest natural calamities of the recent past.As a result of a powerful 8.0 earthquake that struck near the town of Lata, on Santa Cruz in Temotu the Solomon Islands witnessed a Tsunami which was as high as 4 feet 11 inches and at least 10 people seems to have lost their lives.

After the Tsunami there have been very strong after shocks because of which people are frightened to go back home as they have nothing left because of the devastation and prefer to stay higher ground in temporary shelter homes.

I really pray for those who witnessed the Solomon Islands Tsunami and hope god gives them strength to get through this with a bright sunshine tomorrow.
