Brad Maddox explains his actions against Ryback

WWE Raw held on 05/11/2012 started off with a recap from where we left off  last week where the WWE universe needed answers regarding Brad Maddox to know why he screwed  Ryback of the title opportunity at Hell In a Cell.Brad Maddox came into existence when AJ was the raw general manager when he counted CM punk out of a match without checking his foot on the rope and was warned by AJ that he will be fired if he continues not to concentrate on his job.This

is one storyline.Apart from this another one making the headline is the confusion Vickie Guerrero has created regarding John Cena and AJ's relationship status.These two storyline would suffice any wwe fan to hook onto his/her television when raw Airs.Both the storylines had a fair bit of progress today which will give at least some kind of idea to know what exactly is happening.Raw Kicked off with a triple threat tag team match between Rey Mysterio,Sin Cara and R truth against the Prime Time Players and Antonio Cesaro.

Everyone knows and would agree Rey Mysterio is a big match player looking at him in these mid card matches sometimes makes me feel bad.He in undoubtedly one of the best high flyers around.The triple threat match didn't last much long and

the win was sealed by the team of Rey Mysterio teams thanks to his 619 to Antonio Cesaro and R truth's finisher to Antonio Cesaro.The match was won via a pinfall.After the match it was time for Vickie Guerrero to make her way to the ring to provide

another set of evidence to prove AJ and John Cena are in a relationship.What was interesting was compared to the proof provided last week by Vickie.This weeks proof was a little more believable that they might infact be in a

relationship.John Cena's answers to justify himself seemed to be genuine as well to even things out.The Evidence provided by Vickie Guerrero this week was AJ in a bathrobe entering a room and John Cena in a towel putting a do

not disturb signboard outside his room.John Cena said both the videos had been taken from two different security camera's.Vickie Guerrero also tried calling out AJ to prove her innocence but AJ spoke to Vickie Guerrero thr

ough the titan tron refusing to meet her in the ring as she did not want to loose her control and unleash on vickie guerrero and end up loosing the job that she loves.John Cena at one point also told Vickie Guerrero that she has misused her powers in the past as well and continues to do so.He futher said that when Vickie was in a relationship with

Edge she gave him multiple title opportunities until edge broke up with her.Dolph Ziggler accompanied AJ which was shown on the titan tron stating "Everyone knows how AJ is".This sparked something inside John

Cena who ran backstage to make sure AJ was alright as Vickie Guerrero continued to laugh in the ring.WWE raw this week was held in Birmingham,
England and when i say England it is the hometown of Wade Barrett.Thats the 

reason why when he came on the screen there was a loud cheer from the audience.I must say looking at the telecast the
fans in England looked very much a part of the WWE universe.Its amazing how many hearts WWE has 

captured since it started more than a decade ago.Getting back to the segment.Wade Barrett was confronted by Paul Heyman requesting him to Join Team Punk at Survivor Series to which Wade Barrett didnt agree initially but reconsidered and said he would not mind Joining team punk until Paul Heyman "Owes him one" and he is given the same in writing.I have a feeling Wade Barrett might ask the favor of having a title match against CM Punk in the near future.Nothing official out yet though.

Cody Rhodes Def.Daniel Bryan Via Pinfall
 

Team Hell No seem to be going through a weird phase in their WWE career's as both of them at most of the time look confused.Daniel Bryan showed a lot of agility in the match but just a bit of distraction by Damien Sandow was enough for Cody Rhodes to kick his head from the

apron outside the ring and then successfully performing his signature move "Cross Roads" to seal the deal.He won the match via pinfall but that was not all.After the match was over Cody Rhodes said as easily as he defeated 

his partner would have no problem defeating Kane either(A bad idea)Kane who was in the ring at that time almost immediately pulled Damien Sandow by his hair to the ring and the match was started.Thanks to a choke slam by the big red 

 monster he was able to secure a victory very easily and win the match.What was interesting to see is that exactly how easily Daniel Bryan was defeated by Cody Rhodes.It was exactly with the same ease ane defeated Damien Sandow

courtesy chokeslam via a pinfall.A few shots of the birmingham city center and England's famous double deker buses were shown on wwe raw as well.The City center building in particular looked very attractive.It was now time for Brad

Maddox to explain his actions.He came in dressed casually asif nothing had happened but the reason why he did it was amazing to hear.Apparently Brad tried to get into wwe as a wrestler and worked very hard to get through.He was not

given proper opportunity and he ended up being a referee.He wanted everyone to know who he was and wanted a contract for the wwe.After Michael cole interviewed Brad Maddox to hear all this we had Vince McMahon who

 said he will give Brad Maddox a 100 million dollar contract if he defeats Ryback next week to which Brad Maddox looked very confident.Vince also said speaking of contract he needed to speak to Vickie Guerrero and made her setup

a match between John Cena,Ryback and CM Punk for the world heavyweight champion.It will be interesting to see if CM punk continues his run or we finally have a new Champion crowned.Mr McMahon was in a negative role

for quite sometime its good to see him as a babyface and a savior for the WWE.What was good to see was how Sheamus before his match shook Mr McMahon's hand and hugged him.

Sheamus after he lifted Big Show last week for the white noise was filled with adrenaline and he showed it in the match as well.Big show as the guest commentator and as usual spoke trash about Sheamus but little did that effect him
as he was easily able to give a brogue kick to The Miz to get an easy win via a pinfall.Sheamus though not actually from England still managed to get quite a few cheers from the fans.Since he is baby face now he is loved even more.After the

match was over he thanked William Regal for his help until now in his career.Im not sure whats in store for sheamus in the survivor series but if he has a match against the big show im quite certain this will be nothing compared to the one we

 saw in hell in a cell.That match as he said will truly be a war.Vickie Guerrero managed to get a Team Ziggler for survivor series after speaking to Mr. McMahon although no details of who will feature in the team are revealed yet 

 Dolph Ziggler seemed to be happy with the end result.what he and CM Punk were not happy about was them facing against Ryback and John Cena in the main even during the end of the day.A commercial showed someone by the name Fandangoo now i dont know if he is a wrestler or it

was just an advertisement for something else it will be good to see who that actually will be.I wonder what role William Regal is currently performing in WWE these days we see him every now and again for a while and then he

disappears much like Ron Simmons.I still remember there was a time when he won the king of the ring and how bored we used to get looking at him but looking at him now we see such great talent doing nothing.

Kaitlyn and Layla Def. Aksana and Eve Torres
 

It was now time for some Diva action Layla has made a good mark in the diva section along with Kaitlyn.However i miss the days when she used to team up with Michelle McCool.Michelle was so pretty and so is layla.Their attitude during their alliance was great to see.As other

Divas Matches this didn't last long either with Kaitlyn Getting a pin over Eve Torres after performing her finisher.


Kofi Kingston Def. Alberto Del Rio Via Pinfall
 

Looks like Alberto and Randy Orton's feud is here to stay.It showed in the match between Kofi and alberto as well.Thanks to Randy Orton's RKO Kofi was able to pin Alberto to secure a win.Even though the feud still exists i feel this

might fade out after survivor series as they both are in the opposite teams.Randy Orton at this point in the WWE seems to be going nowhere much like Rey Mysterio he is also not any part of a bigger storyline but wherever he has

performed he has lived up to his reputation as the viper.I really hope wwe comes up with a storyline soon with all the big guns a part of it.

Santino Marella and Zack Ryder Def. Primo and Epico
 

Whenever there is a match 
which involves Santino you can guarantee it will have a bit of comedy element to it and so did this match.There were a few comic moments.Zack Ryder is a great entertainer from his side as well. 

Primo and Epico on the other hand are again low card players who come into existence once a while.



Wade Barrett Def. Brodus Clay via Pinfall
 

Brodus Clay or funkosauras is one of the best dancers in the WWE but Wade Barrett is someone who does not like anyone messing with him.He proved it when he performed his finisher on clay to seal the match and to

an easy victory via pinfall.However his former Nexus member Heath Slater had other plans creating the tag team 3DM consisting of Jinder Mahal,Drew McIntyre and himself.

He is a one man band and he proved it today after getting a victory over one of the USO'S.Whats great to see is him getting a victory soon after joining 3DM.as far as i remember his last victory was against Doink The Clown long back

when he was in a spree of hurting the legends.The USO'S entrance is always great to see it shows their tradition and they look so enthusiastic.To be honest i don't understand a thing they say but it always sounds and looks nice.The way

3DM is shaping up as a tag team it looks like they will definitely be in a negative role and will not be babyface.This was expected to be honest.But sometimes i feel since wwe does not have proper roles for them they end up creating

 a new tag team.They have potential but will they remain in the long run is something that we will have to wait and watch.


John Cena And Ryback Def. CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler
 

Ryback continued to impress with his raw power.The kind of power he has he can pick up and throw any wrestler at his will.Whats great to see is him trying and performing new moves as well which is quite entertaining.After

Ryback had made an entry to WWE looks like there are less followers for John Cena and more for Ryback.You will believe this by the "Feed Him More" Chant that wwe universe had going during the match.At times Ryback

reminds me of the old Chris Masters but compared to Chris Ryback has different set of moves but looks are quite similar.During this match as well it looked asif John Cena was struggling but as soon as he tagged Ryback in

 he dominated.Gave a Shell Shock to CM Punk and pinned the WWE champion.This will totally demoralize CM Punk but it would be interesting to see what kind of excuse he gives in next week of raw.Before Raw went off air John Cena and Ryback were having a face off which kind of 

looked like John Cena is thinking "How do i defeat this guy at The Survivor Series".I am not sure who will win the match at Survivor Series but one thing is for sure.Ryback will not hold back and CM Punk might try some cheap tactics to get through this one.Vince McMahon earlier during the show also told Brad Maddox that he is sure Paul Heyman,Brad Maddox and CM Punk had some sort of understanding between them before maddox screwed Ryback.Next week when Ryback faces Maddox it would be interesting to see how maddox performs in ring or if there is a way he gets that one million dollar wrestling contract.Also last but not the least the much awaited return of Jerry "The King" Lawler is on Raw Next monday.This is the first time Jerry will be back after his heart attack.It would be great for the WWE universe the hear the voice of one of the best commentators ever in a wrestling industry.
